AVEVA is seeking an innovative Data Scientist to join their AI Investigation and Incubation team to support the investigation, incubation, and development of new AI solutions to be incorporated into AVEVA’s industrial intelligence offerings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in AI/ML techniques and best practices, including model evaluation, training/tuning, monitoring, and governance
- Up-to-date understanding of modern AI technologies including foundation models and agents
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong ability to translate emerging research into practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and recommend AI algorithmic/data science solutions to industrial problems.
- Collaborate and consult with product teams on the development of new product capabilities.
- Lead and contribute to investigations and incubations of emerging AI technologies for industrial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and test AI-driven solutions.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience mentoring junior team members or leading small projects is a plus.
