Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in data analysis/extraction/manipulation using tools like SAS, SQL, R, Python, etc. strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing data visualization in tools such as Tableau and analytic automation (scripting, macros) strongly preferred
- Min. 3 years of Data Science functional experience (familiarity with Payer industry is preferred, but not a must)
Responsibilities
- Work with a rich dataset and a robust well-established Enterprise Data Warehouse to identify emerging drivers of health care trend and cost, market pressures, and profitability by designing, compiling, and executing own analysis or reporting.
- Design compelling visualizations and build innovative models to influence and analyze new products, provider payment structures, and health care delivery mechanisms that will lower cost and improve the quality of care provided to our members, making a clear recommendation on path forward with supporting rationale.
- Assists in performance of financial projections and analysis for well-defined projects, making recommendations to various customers/departments
- Lead development of processes/analyses to determine financial performance or evaluate cost/benefit, working to ensure consistent representation across the entire business
- May be responsible for leading projects relating to complex issues and trends, driving projects to completion, communicating results and facilitating implementation

- A minimum of 4 years professional experience, preferably in healthcare or related industry
- Proven problem-solving competence, proactive strategical thinking. Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, experience to initiate and drive projects with minimal oversight and guidance.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills to execute on a variety of projects under specific time restraints.
- Ability to communicate (written & verbal) and collaborate with various business partners, including clinical and technical and non-technical staff required
