Norstella is looking to accelerate the development and delivery of life-saving therapies by leveraging advanced data science and AI techniques to provide comprehensive data-driven insights and strategic advisory services to clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing AI / ML applications and delivering data-driven solutions
- Extensive expertise in NLP, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and other state-of-the-art AI / ML techniques
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, along with core data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, etc.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, computational complexity, and algorithm design
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems within agile environments and developing rapid prototypes
- Proven leadership in managing complex data science projects and mentoring junior team members
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and developers to deliver scalable AI-enabled microservices
- Define and implement reference architectures to address complex analytical questions, utilizing techniques such as code interpreting, LLMs, and secondary models
- Coach team members on architecture best practices and emerging AI/ML technologies
- Stay current with advancements in AI and data science, delivering presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions internally
- Serve as a technical expert in areas such as entity resolution, knowledge graphs, search optimization, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Contribute to strategic planning and innovation initiatives to enhance our data science capabilities
- Collaborate with product leadership to identify, elaborate, and prioritize data science projects aligned with business goals
