Requirements
- Expert-level Document Intelligence (IDP) expertise including OCR/layout understanding, document classification, entity & table extraction, and summarization
- Advanced proficiency with LLMs & GenAI including prompt design, tool/function calling, and RAG implementations
- Strong Python programming skills plus PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Solid algorithms background
- Proficiency in data/ML engineering patterns (Spark or Ray)
- GPU/distributed computing experience
- MLOps proficiency with CI/CD for models, experiment tracking, and A/B testing
Responsibilities
- Document Intelligence Development: Design and implement advanced document processing solutions including OCR/layout understanding, document classification, entity extraction, table extraction, and intelligent summarization systems.
- AI Agent & Bot Development: Build and deploy sophisticated AI agents and agentic automation systems that can interact with various business processes and provide intelligent decision support.
- LLM & GenAI Implementation: Develop and optimize large language model applications including prompt design, tool/function calling, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations for business-critical use cases.
- End-to-End ML Solution Delivery: Lead complete machine learning project lifecycles from problem definition through production deployment, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI/ML initiatives across the organization.
Other
- Advanced degree - Master's (5+ years) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building and shipping ML/AI solutions
- Experience working in financial services or other heavily regulated industries (preferred)
- Publications or contributions to open-source ML/AI projects (preferred)
- Flexible hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days in NYC office
