Support federal government programs by applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to large, complex datasets to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and mission outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).
  • Understanding of cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or similar).
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP), geospatial analysis, or big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of federal data standards, government compliance frameworks, and data governance.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple government and contractor systems.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning methods to identify trends, patterns, and predictive insights.
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that support program and mission requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal data security and privacy standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, HIPAA where applicable).
  • Support automation of data pipelines and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for government clients.

Other

  • 3+ years of experience applying data science techniques in government or defense-related environments (federal contracting experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to brief senior government stakeholders.
  • Active [Security Clearance Level] or ability to obtain one.
  • Prior experience supporting defense, intelligence, or civilian federal agencies.
