Tyagrt is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support a DOJ office in Washington, DC. The role involves leading major data initiatives, designing advanced analytical models, and collaborating with national security stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python for data science applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, data mining, statistical analysis, and large-scale data processing.
- Experience designing end-to-end data workflows and analytics pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact, complex data science and technology assignments across multiple projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics.
- Conduct and lead Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) operations to integrate and condition data from multiple repositories.
- Design and implement custom ML models and statistical methods to uncover insights and support strategic decisions.
- Evaluate model performance, conduct variable analysis, and apply remediation strategies where necessary.
- Develop innovative approaches for handling and analyzing large-scale datasets, improving data search, retention, and usability.
- Write and maintain code to automate data pipelines and streamline analytical workflows.

- A current Top Secret/SCI & Poly
- Master’s Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience.
- Collaborate with national security investigators and analysts to understand analytical needs and deliver actionable data-driven solutions.
- Communicate results clearly and provide strategic, actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
