The Leidos Innovation Center (LInC) Information and Data Sciences Division is looking to solve complex data-driven problems and advance the state of the art in machine learning and artificial intelligence, particularly in graph modeling and development, to address long-term problems of importance to national security.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
- 4 or more years of experience with GraphML, GNNs, CNNs, knowledge graphs, graph-based clustering/community detection, etc.
- Experience solving a variety of machine learning problems (e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, statistical estimation, etc.)
- Proficient in data exploration techniques and tools
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding beyond a basic level of GraphML, graph neural networks, convolutional neural nets, anomaly detection, etc.
- Experience adapting ML algorithms and tools with operational workflows for customers in the US government
- Demonstrated track record of extending ML and AI tools and algorithms to new domains
Responsibilities
- Contribute to complex data-driven development projects involving diverse data types using modern ML architectures
- Research and solution state of the art graph-based models and apply these efforts to various types of data
- Implement sophisticated feature extraction techniques from complex, high-dimensional datasets
- Develop and utilize MLOps pipelines to develop/train/test/validate/deploy ML models
- Formulate, prototype, implement, and test existing state-of-the-art as well as novel ML algorithms to solve customer problems
- Contribute to the generation of competitively sourced proposals for contract R&D projects
- Produce and communicate reports and presentations that summarize technical results to technical and non-technical audiences
Other
- BS degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a physical science with 6+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters in technical domain above with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (no clearance needed to start)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment utilizing Agile methodologies
- Self-starter with high intellectual curiosity
- Good communication skills with ability to explain results to a non-technical audience
