CoinFlip is looking for a Data Scientist to help drive strategic decisions through data to improve our services/products.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., DBT, Redshift, Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Comfort with regression techniques & tree based models.
- Experience with AWS.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support business decisions.
- Utilize machine learning algorithms to build and optimize models for various business applications.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the impact of changes and improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest data science techniques and tools to continuously improve our data capabilities.
