Requirements
- Expertise in Python and SQL
- Proficiency in application of frequently used ML algorithms
- Experience working with big data, big data platforms & architectures
- Hands-on model development, statistical methodologies, or quantitative analysis experience
- Ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis and evaluation of alternative solutions
- Expertise in data architectures & data modeling, APIs, and leveraging big data through distributed computing
Responsibilities
- Consult with internal clients to understand proposed projects. Conduct appropriate analyses to estimate project impacts
- Design and develop methods and systems to generate actionable insights and solutions for our clients
- Develop and code algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources
- Apply appropriate techniques to develop models that support H&R Block clients and business partners
- Interpret and communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments in a compelling manner to Product, Service, Marketing and business managers

Other
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
