The department requires data analytics capabilities to collect, interpret, and leverage data for data-driven initiatives and improvements.
Requirements
- Ability to use data visualization tools
- Advanced knowledge of data querying languages, and statistical or mathematical software
- Advanced knowledge in writing algorithms, and knowing when to apply them
- Ability to understand statistics, multi variable calculus, and linear algebra
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Knowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling techniques in a healthcare context
Responsibilities
- Collects and interprets data and aid in all department data needs
- Automates and integrates processes
- Develops processes for formulation of data driven solutions for improvements
- Develops complex models that integrate business rules and requirements
- Creates machine learning models
- Shares complex ideas verbally and visually in an understandable manner with non technical stakeholders
Other
- Meets with team members regarding projects
- Communicates and meets with teams and interested parties
- Performs other duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.
- 48 months experience in Data Science, Predictive, or Advanced Analytics or related experience.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to lead other employees
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
