MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in Patuxent River, MD to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets, visualize, interpret, and report data findings, and create dynamic data reports.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience performing Data Scientist related work
- Familiarity with the QLIK, Tableau and Microsoft Power platforms
Responsibilities
- Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings
- Create dynamic data reports
- Apply knowledge to develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
Other
- Travel up to 10%
- Ability to conduct briefings to Senior Military & Civil Service personnel
- 3+ years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs or related organizations
- Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) organization and operations
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess and active or current Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI eligibility
