Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with data analytics or a combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning techniques, Python, Spark, and visualization tools
- 2+ years of extensive experience in big data, analytics, programming, statistics, and cybersecurity
- Experience with healthcare cybersecurity is strongly preferred
- Proven experience in predictive analytic modeling, preferably in large volume, high velocity, categorical data sets such as machine data
- Proven experience with statistical modeling for linear and logistic regression, non-parametric statistical tests, and non-gaussian distributions, including model efficacy measures and associated assumptions
- Extensive experience with Spark
Responsibilities
- Frequent interaction with project stakeholders and business partners at all levels of the organization
- Creating solutions to challenging business problems using data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques
- Analyzing log, security, and cybersecurity intelligence data and using quantitative methods to create actionable and timely data products
- Designing data science workflow solutions for production environments
- Discussing business problems and requirements with customers and designing solutions
- Being responsible for the end-to-end creation and deployment of new analytic offerings to support internal and external clients
- Involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle from requirements gathering, hypothesis generation, ideation, programming, testing, and implementation of new processes and tools
Other
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or other STEM fields - Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of client interfacing experience (internal or external), demonstrating excellent ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form, and reliable executive presence
- Creative problem solver, driven to answer complicated questions in a meaningful manner using scientific techniques
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form
- 40 hours of work per week, full-time
