Saint Luke's is looking to support the Population Health team by developing study designs, selecting key performance indicators, and establishing data collection processes to improve patient care and work/life balance.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of SQL, SQL programming, and relational database concepts
- Experience with data quality software such as Alteryx or similar class of tools
- Experience with analytic and visualization platforms such as Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft BI, or R
- Base experience with SQL, JAVA, Iron Python, or HTML preferred
- Certification in Epic Clarity Caboodle or Cogito is preferred
- Experience working with EMR data, or Health Insurance Claims data is preferred
- Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following: quantitative analysis, financial analysis, information systems, population health analytics, clinical informatics, or clinical quality analytics
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing appropriate study design, selection of key performance indicators and applicable benchmarks, establish data collection processes and tools, and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Interpret complex mathematical models and effectively present sophisticated analysis and findings.
- Identify and recommend appropriate cohorts for benchmark comparisons and setting targets for performance excellence and incentive programs.
- Collaborate with clinicians, program leaders and performance improvement analysts to design new performance dashboards.
- Lead production of real-time, monthly and quarterly dashboards to enable transparency and to monitor system-wide performance of program progress, clinical quality, and cost of care.
- Develop and maintain data quality software such as Alteryx or similar class of tools.
- Work with analytic and visualization platforms such as Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft BI, or R.

- Bachelors Degree required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with analytically challenging projects, preferably in healthcare
