HII's Mission Technologies division, specifically the Warfare Systems group, is looking to solve problems within our nation's intelligence and cyber operations communities by defending interests in cyberspace and anticipating emerging threats. The Cyber and Intelligence Team is seeking a Data Scientist to develop real-time solutions for clients at Fort Meade, focusing on innovation and collaboration to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Providing support and related services to the implementation of enterprise data representations in various mission domains
- Perform end-to-end systems engineering for data flows from the perspective of data format modeling, data mapping, and support to implementers and mission customers
- Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets
- Make and communicate principled conclusions from data using elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application specific knowledge
- Through analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or another appropriate scientific method, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure that account for the unique features and limitations inherent in data holdings
- Translate practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large dataset into technical requirements and, conversely, assist others with drawing appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data
- Make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions by maintaining awareness of the constantly shifting collection, processing, storage and analytic capabilities and limitations
