HII's Mission Technologies division is looking to develop real-time solutions for clients at Fort Meade by leveraging data science, programming, reverse engineering, and intelligence planning to defend interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats.
Requirements
- Foundations (mathematical, computational, statistical)
- Data Processing (Data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow and reproducibility)
- Modeling, inference, and prediction (Data modeling and assessment, domain-specific considerations)
- Designing/implementing machine learning
- Data science
- Advanced analytical algorithms
- Programming (skill it at least one high-level language (e.g., Python))
Responsibilities
- Providing support and related services to the implementation of enterprise data representations in various mission domains
- Perform end-to-end systems engineering for data flows from the perspective of data format modeling, data mapping, and support to implementers and mission customers
- Employ some combination (2 or more) of the following skill areas: Foundations (mathematical, computational, statistical)
- Data Processing (Data management and curation, data description and visualization, workflow and reproducibility)
- Modeling, inference, and prediction (Data modeling and assessment, domain-specific considerations)
- Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets
- Through analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and/or another appropriate scientific method, develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure that account for the unique features and limitations inherent in data holdings
