Requirements
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, large language models (LLMs), and statistical methods
- Practical experience deploying models in production environments
- Proficiency in Python and interactive development environments such as Jupyter
- Experience with modern data platforms for scalable data processing and analytics (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Kubernetes)
- Experience with ML platforms for development, deployment, and operations (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow, Hugging Face)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices at scale and model serving approaches
- Strong foundation in software engineering best practices including Git, CI/CD, and reproducibility
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data science and AI projects, including problem definition, data exploration, model development, deployment, and evaluation
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning and AI models to enhance product features, improve user experience, and optimize operational processes
- Communicate complex data insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through visualizations and presentations
- Ensure models and solutions are scalable, reproducible, and maintainable in production environments
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and AI; evaluate and advocate for their adoption
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project goals, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
