Credence is seeking a Data Scientist to support AFCENT A2 at Shaw AFB, SC. The role involves providing expert analytic support for mission-critical needs in defense and health federal organizations, specifically focusing on AI/ML, enterprise modernization, and advanced intelligence capabilities to increase mission success for war-fighters and secure the nation.
Requirements
- Experience analyzing and briefing adversary surface-to-surface missile capabilities.
- Experience with structured analytic techniques to develop new solutions for analytic gaps
- Working knowledge of US Air Force Collection, Targeting, and Planning Processes
- Working knowledge of USCENTCOM AOR, political/military threats, understanding of violent extremist organizations, terrorist organizations; working knowledge of intelligence analysis and TTPs.
- Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
- Advanced Analytic training: preferred.
- Experience working with structured data and data scientists to develop analytic solutions to complex intelligence problems: preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide expert analytic support through the development and publishing of threat operating areas and procedures to directly support USCENTCOM directed planning efforts.
- Provide critical oversight of training on predictive and forensic analysis of S2S/WMD programs throughout the Middle East.
- Provide expert analytic support to 9AF (AFCENT) planning by authoring and reviewing prioritized intelligence, collection, and production requirements, and integration of new TTPs to advance planning efforts.
- Leverage all formal and informal analytic exchanges, as well as training opportunities, to foster peer-to-peer collaboration, ensure thorough vetting of products, and deliberately pursue/maintain acuity on essential elements of tradecraft.
- Develop new methods to support USAFCENT F2T development efforts.
- Leveraging advanced analytic techniques to advance understanding of adversary TTPs to directly support USAFCENT operational priorities while balancing Intelligence Community requirements.
- Effectively operating as a member of an analytical team in support of CJOA requirements

- Travel to CJOA and/or within CONUS in order to provide/receive training
- Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information
