Acarin is seeking a Data Scientist to demonstrate and enhance the positive impact of their products on customer outcomes by working with internal teams to devise measurement strategies and communicate results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
- Strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a tech or SaaS company.
- Experience with SQL and big data platforms.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage measurement frameworks that demonstrate how Acarin drives customer outcomes, including conversion rate, handle time, quality, compliance, and revenue.
- Lead experimental design and analysis using A/B tests, quasi-experiments, matched cohorts, diff-in-diff, and causal inference approaches as required.
- Construct statistically sound pre/post analyses, uplift models, and confidence/uncertainty reporting for executive-ready readouts.
- Develop KPIs and success criteria for implementations, ensuring alignment of metrics with customer goals and operational realities.
- Analyze operational data (structured + event/log data), identifying performance drivers and areas for product optimization.
- Create repeatable impact narratives and customer-facing insights, including ROI, adoption drivers, segmentation, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to enhance telemetry, metric definitions, data quality, and model/product monitoring.

- Contribute to internal best practices for analytics rigor, documentation, and reusable templates.
