Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Extensive experience with NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, Azure) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills in processing large textual datasets and building predictive models
- Understanding of healthcare industry dynamics and regulatory frameworks is a plus
- Experience with generative models such as LLMs and diffusion models
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI solutions utilizing Python, computer vision, and generative models such as LLMs and diffusion models, ensuring responsible development aligned with ethical standards
- Build autonomous AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI to support reasoning and decision-making processes in healthcare
- Embed AI technologies into Humana’s enterprise systems and workflows, collaborating with business teams to understand challenges and co-create solutions
- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and compliant with industry regulations and standards
- Partner with engineering and product teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain AI models in production environments
- Apply advanced machine learning, NLP, and generative AI techniques to solve complex business problems and deliver enterprise-grade solutions
- Develop and maintain structured and unstructured data sets for analysis, reporting, and insights generation
Other
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data science, with at least 5 years focused on AI and NLP applications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to deliver data-driven solutions in fast-paced environments
- Leadership experience in mentoring, managing projects, or guiding teams is advantageous
