Halvik Corp is looking to solve the problem of federal agencies struggling with large datasets, both structured and unstructured, by extracting useful insights and reducing manual analysis using various AI/ML techniques.
Requirements
- Proficient with a broad spectrum of advanced data science techniques and industry expertise including machine learning and AI.
- Expert in descriptive statistics and statistical methods with applications in machine learning (e.g., correlation, regression, clustering)
- Practical programming experience in Python, R, Matlab, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and/or other related programming languages (5+ years preferred)
- 3+ years of practical data science experience
- 5+ years of practical data science experience (preferred)
- Experience delivering end-to-end data science projects, starting with project plan, through data modellingdata integrity checks to delivering value with explainable results
- Experience in automation and deployment preferred (MLOps and Data Engineering)
Responsibilities
- Lead our artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) projects in the federal space.
- Guide our federal agency clients with large datasets, both structured and unstructured, in extracting useful insights and reducing manual analysis using various AI/ML techniques.
- Leading AI/ML centers of excellence to assist federal agencies understand various approaches and models within AI/ML that may be relevant to their datasets and objectives.
- Hands-on modeling work in collaboration with our federal clients to develop and deploy AI/ML models.
- Assist Halvik in proposing innovative AI/ML solutions to help federal agencies go beyond basic analysis needs and answer questions previously not considered.
