Amazon Advertising is looking for a Data Scientist to lead data science solutions for innovative advertising products that drive discovery and sales, supporting Amazon's Retail and Marketplace businesses in achieving long-term growth.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- 2+ years in a data scientist role with experience in machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Previous experience in a machine learning or data scientist position at a large technology company.
Responsibilities
- Lead data science solutions from inception to execution.
- Tackle large-scale, complex problems with a high degree of independence.
- Utilize coding skills in Python, R, Scala, SQL, etc., to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Design and implement Machine Learning and statistical models to address specific business challenges.
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Define statistical parameters for outlier detection and develop methods to identify and analyze anomalies systematically.
- Build decision-making models and propose solutions that enhance business performance.
