Apex is looking for a Data Scientist/Business Intelligence Engineer to leverage data analysis, modeling, and advanced analytics to drive business decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- Proficiency with SQL, database design/architecture, Oracle DB and tools, Python, and R.
- Certifications in Oracle technologies a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, data management, or statistical modeling.
- Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics.
- Experience with Oracle Application Express and other reporting suites.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
- Strong technical expertise in data science and business intelligence
Responsibilities
- Acquire, report on, and analyze data to answer key business and industry questions.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain predictive and prescriptive models.
- Employ statistical methods, machine learning, and advanced analytics to prepare and model data.
- Collaborate with teams to architect complex data solutions that support, automate, or augment business needs through AI and machine learning.
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Manage data pipelines and ETLs to ensure data availability and structure.
- Administer and maintain Oracle Application Express and other reporting suites, build complex reports that provide business value.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, data management, or statistical modeling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to mentor others and work independently.
- Some onsite work will be required, candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area or open to relocation.
