TEKsystems is seeking a Data Scientist/BI Engineer to build predictive models and predictive analytics for target audiences.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL & Python for Data Analysis: Strong foundation in SQL (Snowflake, Azure, SQL Server) and Python, with experience sourcing and manipulating first-party data to drive insights.
- Applied Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with predictive modeling techniques including XGBoost, hyperparameter tuning, and model selection tailored to business problems—preferably within platforms like Dataiku.
- Audience Strategy & Segmentation: Skilled in clustering, look-alike modeling, and behavioral analysis to create targeted audiences for direct marketing channels such as email, push notifications, and direct mail.
- Customer-Centric Data Focus: Background in marketing and sales analytics, with a deep understanding of customer behavior and targeting strategies—excluding pharma or manufacturing domains.
- Critical Thinking & Model Optimization: Ability to evaluate and retrain models by refining data inputs and improving performance based on business application needs.
