Blueflame AI for Datasite is looking for a Data Scientist to support the development of the Blueflame AI platform by managing large data sets, gathering insights, and developing models to solve complex business problems and predict future trends.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Python
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in a wide range of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
- Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs a plus
- Familiarity building ML pipelines
- Familiarity with finance and/or alternative investments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Gather and pre-process large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency for analysis
- Develop and implement models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems and predict future trends
- Deploy models into production environments and help monitor performance, and make any adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy
- Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data insights and findings to internal teams
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, continuously seeking innovative ways to apply them to the platform and customer use cases
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of data science projects
- Ensure that data is used ethically and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, protecting privacy and confidentiality
Other
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand customer needs and help translate them into data-driven solutions
- Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability
- Minimum 5-7 years of industry and/or technical experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent engineering discipline
- Hybrid position in NYC with 3 days in office
