Whiteboard Federal is looking to solve mission-critical support to customers using Data Science
Requirements
Fluency in a high-level modeling language.
Working knowledge of SQL.
Experience with Big Data technologies.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or Java
Ability to distill problem definitions, models, and constraints from informal business requirements; and to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives.
Experience designing and supporting large-scale distributed systems in a production environment.
Experience building predictive and optimization models.
Responsibilities
Create and track accuracy and performance metrics.
Gather data required for analysis and model building.
Prototype models by using high-level modeling languages such as R or in software languages such as Python.
Create, enhance, and maintain technical documentation.
Experience building predictive and optimization models.
Expert knowledge in at least one of the following fields: machine learning, operations research, data science research.
Ability to do financial and statistical modeling.
Other
A Bachelor or Masters Degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience.
Industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis.
Strong communication, influencing, and partnership skills.
