Entegris is seeking a Data Scientist Co-Op to support the Data Management and Science team in SAS programming, and the maintenance and development of analytical tools. This role will work on real-world manufacturing data projects, contribute to cloud-based data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence business decisions on production, quality, and supply chain.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS/STAT), SAS programming certification plus
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data
- Solid knowledge of statistics (e.g., ANOVA, regression, hypothesis testing)
- Understanding of common machine learning models
- Experience with data visualization tools (SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Design new and enhance existing SAS-based analytical tools for different functional teams
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Maintain and improve interactive dashboards and reports using tools like SAS Visual Analytics or Power BI
- Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to debug and design data models in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake
- Conduct statistical modeling and root cause analyses to identify trends and generate insights
- Create and maintain analytical training instruction slides to support knowledge sharing

- Minimum GPA of 3.2
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics
- Expected to graduate in 2026
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
- Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
