Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist – Data Engineer to join their team, with a focus on data science and engineering, particularly in forecasting models, explainability layer, and retail domain experience.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience and foundations in machine learning, including dimensionality reduction, clustering, embeddings, and sequence classification algorithms.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Practical experience in Natural Language Processing methods and libraries such as spaCy, word2vec, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Flair, BERT.
- Practical experience with large language models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and benchmarking using frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- 1 -2 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1–2 years on Azure.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, and Databricks
- Experience in forecasting models, explainability layer
Responsibilities
- We are looking for an Engineer who is good at Data Science & Engineering, preferably having experience in forecasting models, explainability layer & also nice to have experience in Grocery domain (mainly with Cost, Allowance, Markdowns ) but need to have Retail domain experience and coming from a departmental store background is a plus.
