The Predictive Analytics and Cost Engineering (PACE) team at Lockheed Martin is looking to solve the problem of creating data-driven cost estimates for program capture and support by combining technical engineering attributes and financial information.
Requirements
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Experience working with cost models, predictive analytics, or decision analysis
- Knowledge of financial systems, analysis, statistics, etc.
- Knowledge of data management systems and/or data science
- Experience with Python focused on data transformation and data movement
- Experience working within the space systems industry
- Familiarity with proposal development and/or the government acquisition process
Responsibilities
- Manage our Historical Satellite Database that informs our forecasting tools, techniques and methods
- Be POC for architecture and development of our Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) line of business (LOB) data repository and support development of standard forecasting tools and dashboards
- Create ETL pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate unorganized data into databases or data sources that are ready for analysis
- Formulating functional and technical requirements from business problems
- Develop data-driven cost estimates for proposal efforts that are parametrically derived
- Normalize cost and technical data
- Lead areas of data repository enhancements to build more efficiency and effectiveness into the utilization of data across PACE and other major functional organizations
Other
- Currently active TS/ SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Math, Operations Research, Engineering, Finance, or related field or equivalent years of experience
- Ability to communicate technically oriented material to broader team
- Strong team collaboration and leadership skills
- 5+ years of related experience
