Intel Corporation is seeking a Senior Economist to join their Market Sizing Forecasting (MSF) team to leverage expertise in economic analysis and forecasting to provide strategic insights supporting Intel's business objectives and corporate strategy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in economic analysis, forecasting, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data.
  • A Ph.D.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the technology sector.
  • Develop and maintain economic models to forecast units, revenues, and product mix of PCs, servers, and other devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making processes and corporate strategy.
  • Provide regular worldwide economic updates and insights to senior leadership to support business planning.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on economic trends and forecasts to various stakeholders within Intel.
  • Manage and organize large datasets using industry, economic, and company data to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Support special studies and projects as requested by management.

Other

  • Master’s degree in economics, statistics, business administration, finance, STEM**,** or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, to convey insights to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work independently and collaboratively within an international team.
  • A proactive approach to staying informed about industry trends and developments.
