CVS Health is seeking a Data Scientist to shape and execute a customer-centric analytics strategy across Health Care Business (HCB) and enterprise-wide opportunities to drive member growth through marketing and sales analytics.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and cloud applications (GCP, AWS, Azure), as well as machine learning
- 1-2+ years of experience solving analytics problems using advanced statistics, machine learning, deep learning, mathematical algorithms, and predictive modeling
- Broad proficiency in mathematical analysis, machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, with depth in one or more areas
- Experience designing and deploying scalable machine learning models in production environments
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing methodologies and causal inference analysis
- Experience in designing and implementing data pipeline and warehouse solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive, data-driven understanding of customer healthcare needs and shopping behaviors, identifying friction points and high-value engagement opportunities, particularly within insurance plans and benefits.
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning and statistical models including deep learning, causal inference, and regression to enhance marketing and sales efficiency.
- Construct scalable pipelines on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to monitor, evaluate, and automate activation across marketing, sales, and other functions.
- Leverage generative AI and large language models (LLMs) to streamline processes and create new business opportunities.
- Create compelling data visualizations and deliver clear, actionable insights to inform strategic decisions in marketing and sales.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and Data Science teams to translate analytics into targeted, actionable business solutions.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s or PhD preferred
- 1-2+ years of industry experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences and delivering clear insights
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week)
- Must be eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program
