Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Data Scientist I to help drive innovation, improve patient outcomes, and shape the future of healthcare through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
Requirements
- 5–10* years of experience with programming languages (C-Sharp, Java, R, Python)
- 5–10* years of experience with advanced statistical modeling (multivariate, non-parametric, predictive modeling)
- Expertise in SQL, R, Python, and Microsoft Office 365 tools
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with report writing tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS, Tableau, Power BI)
Responsibilities
- Automate data collection, analysis, and modeling to meet business needs
- Perform advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics using multiple data sources
- Document processes to ensure repeatable and reliable results
- Develop and conduct training for analysts and power users
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Serve as a resource for research statistics and operational goals
