Amazon's Customer Delivery Experience (CDE) Science Team is looking to revolutionize global logistics through research and innovation, combining advanced machine learning and transportation logistics to improve delivery experiences for millions of customers worldwide. The goal is to translate scientific innovations into practical solutions that drive meaningful improvements across their global fulfillment and delivery network.
Requirements
- Experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or equivalent) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, or equivalent)
- Experience in manipulating/transforming data, model selection, model training, cross-validation and deployment at scale
- Experience in data science, machine learning or data mining
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive algorithms to prevent delivery disruptions
- Design machine learning systems for network-wide decision-making
- Create mathematical models that optimize delivery speed, cost, and reliability
- Implement generative AI solutions to enhance customer experiences
- Produce research reports and contribute to peer-reviewed publications
