Requirements

  • Experience managing structured and unstructured data including coding in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, R, C/C++, C-Sharp, or Java.
  • Experience with Exploratory Data Analyses, Inference analysis, Predictive analysis (Regression, Classification, etc.) and forecasting.
  • Coding in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, R, C/C++, C-Sharp, or Java.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Finance, and Business Planning, or demonstrated business acumen to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in complex and ambiguous environments by applying critical thinking, technical skills, and strategic influence to drive measurable results.
  • Experience with data science tools and technologies
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with a variety of teams including senior leadership, product management, software engineers, design, and User Research to shape business and product strategy through the use of data-backed insights.
  • You will identify instrumentation needs, define and set up metrics and OKRs, deeply analyze the data to identify insights and experiment ideas that move our business metrics.
  • You will design and execute on Growth Experiments, analyze results to identify key insights.
  • You will build models that predict customer behavior that will be used to drive personalized features and targeted outreach efforts.
  • You will understand the current state of the industry, including current trends, so that you can contribute to thought leadership best practices.
  • You’ll also write efficient code for a specific feature and develop a working expertise of proper debugging techniques.
  • You will analyze model performance and incorporate customer feedback into its evaluation.

Other

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
  • OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • 1+ year(s) experience in customer-facing project-delivery, professional services, and/or consulting.
