Requirements
- Minimum undergraduate knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods, with knowledge in modeling and business analytics.
- Academic experience (at minimum) with statistical languages and packages, such as R, Python etc. Expectation is solid skill in at least one of of python or R.
- Academic experience (at minimum) in enhancing the data collection process by consolidating data, standardizing, optimization and perform exploratory data analysis before used on ML model – such as capstone projects.
- Academic experience (at minimum) working with modern relational databases and/or distributed computing platforms Big Data, and their query interfaces, such as SQL, Spark, PySpark and Hive.
- Academic experience (at minimum) using visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis as dashboard in tools such as R/Shiny, GGPlot, Tableau, Qlik and Custom web-based solutions.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Apache Spark, NumPy, TensorFlow etc. is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team with the analysis of business requirements and developing solution recommendations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements.
- Participate in the design and development of processes and systems to consolidate and analyze data. Considerations include variety (structured, unstructured), volume (includes big data), data quality (cleaning and validation of the data) and velocity (batch, stream).
- Participate in the development in advanced analytical models and techniques from supervised and unsupervised machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- In collaboration with more senior team members, we generate reports with findings and help to communicate these effectively via written, oral and visual Dashboard methods.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree equivalent education plus 5 years of experience, Master’s Degree or equivalent education plus 4 years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
- Able to come onsite 3 days a week.
- Background in life sciences or work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
