Requirements
- Proficiency in database technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL Server, SAP HANA, MySQL.
- Experience with data analysis tools including R, SAS, and R Shiny.
- Strong understanding of large-scale data acquisition, transformation, and analysis of both structured and unstructured data.
- Experience in designing experiments and developing mathematical/statistical models to recognize patterns and predict outcomes.
- Experience with data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Validating and measure outcomes of health management programs using tools such as SAS and R, incorporating provider data, claims data, and membership data.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis and develop predictive models to support healthcare initiatives and improve member outcomes.
- Design and develop data models and algorithms tailored to business needs, focusing on healthcare outcomes and decision impacts.
- Construct analysis tools to extract, analyze, and store data, ensuring results are accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis from complex data sources to build key data sets supporting organizational objectives.
- Evaluate and design experiments to monitor key metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Develop and validate statistical and mathematical models to recognize patterns, distinguish relevant content, and predict future impacts.
- Participate in designing automated analytics processes to ensure scalable and durable solutions across the organization.
Other
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Experimental Science with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of extensive experience in data science, including data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex findings effectively.
- Present analysis results and insights to stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable and actionable recommendations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of analysis.
