7-Eleven is seeking to contemporize the brand and redefine convenience, and needs help in managing its complex supply chain and distribution to ensure the right products make it to the right stores at the right time.
Requirements
- Experience with programming in SQL, Python, Spark, Shell Script.
- Master’s or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics and other related quantitative fields.
- Prior work experience in data science and supply chain environment is preferred
- Ability to work with large datasets and use tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization libraries to support analysis and modeling.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of 7-Eleven supply chain data and gather/ analyze the same to understand the current state of the supply chain.
- Identify underlying patterns and business opportunities with data.
- Participate in design, development and implementation of data science models and algorithms, with support from senior team members.
- Support the evaluation of analytical solutions and their impact on related projects.
- Stay informed about analytical advancements and contribute to discussions on selecting appropriate algorithms for business problems.
- Help decompose complex problems into simpler components with input from the team.
- Present and share machine learning and data science solutions in a clear and accessible way to peers and stakeholders.
