This opportunity is for a Data Scientist III to join a team that develops scalable machine learning products used by millions of users via web and mobile platforms.
Requirements
- 2+ years professional experience in developing machine learning models
- Understanding of supervised, unsupervised machine learning and deep learning concepts
- Exposure to and understanding of GenAI concepts, models, and tooling preferred
- Experience with the full pipeline of deploying machine learning algorithms including development, validation, implementation, and production launch
- Strong coding skills in Python/PySpark and proficiency in writing SQL queries
- Understanding of AWS ecosystem
- Understanding of coding best practices and familiarity with version control tools
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define, build, and deploy machine learning models and design A/B tests
- Monitor and evaluate model performance to ensure consistent quality
- Apply robust, maintainable coding practices for reliable, efficient model outputs
- Work with business partners to identify opportunities and trends
- Communicate modeling methodologies and analytical findings to stakeholders
- Stay current with technology trends and publish research related to science and innovation
Other
- MS in machine learning, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Flexibility to work on diverse machine learning problems rather than a single domain
- Preferred: PhD/Masters in statistics, econometrics, machine learning, applied mathematics, or related field
- Preferred: Experience with evaluation of search and recommendation systems
- Preferred: Experience building end-to-end machine learning systems
