Expedia B2B needs to provide commercially focused analytical insight for their largest financial institution partnership to drive growth, increase profitability, and identify competitive threats.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL, with the ability to write it from scratch, search for relevant data and interpret existing queries
- Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau)
Responsibilities
- Extract and transform data from multiple datasets, combining this data as required for model building and analysis
- Create clear and compelling visualizations that support data-driven stories, providing insights and not just data.
- Automate frequent reporting tasks with scalable dashboards
- Build and deliver business cases that support our stakeholders' goals with relevant data
- Highlight proactive opportunities to improve top & bottom-line revenue through commercial projects and provide analysis of competitive threats
- Work with stakeholders to interpret, refine and scope requests for analytical support, framing business problems as analytical tasks.
Other
- At least 2 years’ analytical experience in online travel, e-commerce, banking, or another data-intensive commercial environment
- Basic understanding of revenue drivers and commercial environments and the ability to apply this knowledge to analytics
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis and concepts in an easily understandable way for audiences with varied technical skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and transparently with a wide variety of stakeholders, with an understanding that the true objective may be different from the stated ask
- Demonstrated experience of delivering data-driven insights and recommendations that drove change for stakeholders
