NCTAMS is seeking a Data Scientist II to design, deploy, and maintain secure and efficient SharePoint environments, ensuring compliance with Navy governance and security requirements, and optimizing tools to support mission-critical operations.
Requirements
- SharePoint tools, workflow development, and site customization.
- Site and server security management.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams and the Power Platform.
- SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises environments.
- Manage site collections, permissions, and security policies to ensure data integrity and controlled access.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement updates and patches.
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and ensure operational continuity.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams and the Power Platform.
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell scripting.
- Customize SharePoint workflows, sites, and applications to meet organizational needs.
Other
- Active DoD SECRET clearance at the time of hire and throughout employment.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) – required.
