Blue Origin is seeking a Data Scientist II to apply technical expertise and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight by creating digital infrastructure for the entire Operations organization, focusing on building scalable solutions that automate business processes for Manufacturing and Supply Chain support.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience designing ML models and deploying them to a production environment
- Proficiency in languages used in ML development, such as Python or R
- Experience with real-time analytics and real-time data processing pipelines
- Proficient in deployment / version control services like git
- Proven experience with large language models (LLMs), deep learning, and generative AL models
- Success in optimizing and scaling ML models and infrastructure to handle high traffic and large datasets
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize machine learning (ML) models, including the collection and preparation of data
- Create algorithms that generate content based on learned data patterns
- Collaborate with Software Engineers to implement and deploy ML models in production environments
- Conduct model testing, validation, and optimization, and improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of software systems
- Work with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Implement containerization and orchestration technologies via services like git, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation or models, tools, processes, and experiments
