Tufts Institute for AI (TIAI) is seeking to solve the problem of building a collaborative, application-driven environment that fosters the development of new methods for extracting meaning from data and applying those methods to various domain areas relevant to Tufts.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Python and R programming
- Statistical analyses are required qualifications
- Background in innovative AI/ML methodologies applied to multiple application areas in the sciences and engineering
Responsibilities
- Develop, adapt, and implement analytical workflows and novel methods for large-scale AI applications, interpret, summarize, and communicate results
- Design and perform data driven analysis
- Develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols
- Perform routine and complex analysis workflows
- Collaborate on current/future grants through participation in grant proposals, submissions, publications and presentations
- Participate in teaching, research, and mentoring including providing research guidance to graduate students or postdoctoral scholars
- Work independently, but in close consultation and in cooperation with Senior Scientists
Other
- A PhD Or MS with 2 plus years of experience
- Demonstrated scholarly activity including significant contributions to peer-reviewed literature and original research contributions to peer-reviewed journals
- Participate in contributing data to publications and presentations as co-author
- Provide research guidance to graduate students or postdoctoral scholars
- Participate in teaching, research, and mentoring
