Requirements
- Proficient understanding of modern statistical data analysis techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms and modern OOP techniques.
- Previous research experience in biological signal processing or biomedical data analysis.
- Experience with signal processing and feature extraction from physiological signals.
- Proficiency in developing software within Mac/Linux programming environments.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the areas of data science, data-driven analysis, signal processing, data mining, and machine learning.
- Research and assess next-generation technologies for the analysis of biological signals and data-driven modeling and optimization of complex systems.
- Performs exploratory data analysis and visualizations of multivariate clinical data sets
- Works closely with software engineering and other Data Scientists to test algorithms
- Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and contributes to technical discussions and reviews in related areas of responsibility
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, physics, and engineering.
- Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under mentor guidance.
