BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist to transform raw data into meaningful information using statistical analysis, machine learning, and visualization software.
Requirements
- experience as a data scientist or similar role with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- proficient in SQL, Python, R, or related programming
- experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- an understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, such as regression analysis, clustering, and classification.
Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data applying data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve problems.
- Design data pipelines and workflow to automate data processing.
- Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
Other
- travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD.
- Master’s Degree or PH.D. from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field. - OR - Three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
