Praxis needs to understand the performance characteristics of its complex High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure and quantify how users interact with the platform to optimize systems and inform future investments.
Requirements
- Experience in software development to write code and scripts to curate data and develop visualizations. (API/ETL)
- Hands on experience with software and scripting languages resulting in delivered code. (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Knowledge of data science techniques to address the immediate desires of delivering visualizations and dashboard, with a plan to grow into more complex machine learning operations to enable future systems operations insights.
- Experience capturing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Pull and groom data from systems and logs that categorize key attributes of the platform from visualization and analysis.
- Create visualizations, reports and dashboards for use by management for monitoring and decision making.
- Develop or build on data science and visualization techniques to deliver easy to understand data represented as online and on display dashboards.
- Acquire requirements to improve the team’s delivery of HPC hardware and software tools for its mission partners performing data science, complex physics-based modeling, and AI/ML efforts.
- Work with the HPC team, the system administration teams, and the users of the delivered capabilities to create the future environment supporting our growing user base.
- Participate in, or take on complex tasks, to increase the usefulness of the infrastructure being supplied as the team approaches nascent disciplines related to emerging field such as MLOps, LLM integrations, AI enabled services, etc.
- Work within the defined field of generating these various report and dashboards, while also working with the larger team to leverage all the candidates’ capabilities to meet mission requirements.
