TikTok's Global Security Organization is looking to solve the problem of reducing risk and securing their businesses and products to ensure the TikTok platform is safe and secure, that user data remains safe from threats, and that they comply with global regulations. This role specifically focuses on enhancing content assurance monitoring and strengthening TikTok's security and privacy posture.
Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
- Advanced Proficiency in SQL - able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets
- Strong Experience in Python statistical programming
- Strong Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Mode Analytics/Chartio/Tableau/Qlikview)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Experience operating autonomously and working across multiple teams, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical execution for Content Assurance data monitoring program which includes crossfunctional security projects across multiple organizations
- Perform in-depth data analysis, normalization, and reconciliation using multiple large datasets to identify gaps and trends, manage data quality and integrity, and inform context-based decisions using various information sources
- Develop automated reporting by ensuring data quality through documentation and providing quality assurance of delivered insights.
- Utilize data visualization and descriptive statistics to connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded insights for scalable and intuitive reporting.
- Streamline, standardize, and document end-to-end process flows and requirements to implement repeatable and iterable procedures and operations
- Define metrics and create/maintain dashboards for measuring and reporting key performance indicators (e.g., coverage, findings and remediations)
- Regularly evaluate and improve the content assurance program by staying updated with the latest threats, technologies, and practices related to content security and incorporating them into the program as necessary
