The partner company of Jobgether is looking to solve the problem of shaping data-driven decision-making across the organization by hiring a Data Scientist in the United States.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PySpark and experience handling large datasets efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including building models, creating job pipelines, and managing platform interactions.
- Proven experience with clustering models and machine learning techniques for marketing or product use cases, such as forecasting, customer segmentation, and marketing mix modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to uncover data quality or consistency issues.
- Preferred: advanced understanding of statistical theory, scalable pipeline design, and prior experience in both startup and large software environments.
- 4+ years of industry experience building and operating large-scale data pipelines and architectures.
- B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain analytical frameworks that guide the product roadmap and strategic decisions.
- Design rigorous experiments and interpret results to generate actionable insights for product improvements.
- Build statistical and machine learning models to analyze trends, forecast outcomes, and optimize product performance.
- Create simulations to assess the impact of potential product and policy changes.
- Democratize data by building dashboards and analytical tools to enable objective, company-wide decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
