The Trade Desk is looking to solve hard problems at scale in the AI domain to build a better, more open internet for everyone through principled, intelligent advertising.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with AI-related research and applications.
  • Strong programming and big data processing skills.
  • Experience in making machine learning or data mining algorithms work on massive amounts of data.
  • Deep expertise and extensive hands-on experience in some of the following areas is a plus: Recommendation Systems, Deep Learning, Generative AI technologies, Large-scale data mining.

Responsibilities

  • Driving technical projects and providing leadership in a groundbreaking and fast-paced environment.
  • Task planning, conducting code reviews, and individual code contributions.
  • Developing solutions from first principles and intuition and adapting them to a unique environment.
  • Contributing to the process of discovering what will delight our clients and push forward one of the world’s largest and most influential industries toward a vision of openness, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Pitching ideas to different audiences at all levels.
  • Turning the latest AI publications into solutions for real-world problems or ideas for novel product creation.
  • Making machine learning or data mining algorithms work on massive amounts of data.
