Capstone Integrated Solutions is looking to solve the problem of accurate predictive modeling by hiring a Data Scientist to support hands-on analysis, data preparation, validation, and feature exploration.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Data Scientist or Applied Data Analyst.
- Strong background in data preparation, validation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Experience working with historical time-series or pricing/demand datasets.
- Proficiency with Python and common data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.).
- Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Exposure to pricing, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with structured PoC or prototype-driven projects.
Responsibilities
- Support data validation across historical and newly ingested datasets.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and feature relevance.
- Assist with data preparation, cleansing, and transformation for modeling.
- Collaborate with the Senior Data Scientist on feature understanding and engineering.
- Evaluate data across multiple data zones to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Help refine predictive outputs to improve demand and pricing forecasts.
- Document findings, assumptions, and validation results throughout the PoC.
