Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming/scripting languages
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and analytical techniques such as regression and decision trees
- Experience in building 0→1 products and working with small sample sizes is preferred
- Proficiency in data-driven analysis and experimentation
- Experience with data foundations, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and techniques
- Experience with data visualization and communication tools
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Engineers and Data Engineers to develop reliable, efficient, and scalable data foundations, tools, and processes that support long-term AI/ML growth
- Leverage data insights to identify impactful opportunities and influence product strategies and roadmaps
- Conduct exploratory and in-depth analysis to understand user workflows, engagement patterns, and AI feature performance
- Design and execute rigorous experiments, propose hypotheses, and utilize advanced data techniques to validate findings
- Translate complex data insights into clear business implications and recommendations through effective communication
- Prioritize tasks effectively, focusing on areas with the highest potential impact
- Contribute to a culture of technical ownership, collaborating with Data Science leadership to enhance the DS working model and impact
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 8+ years of experience leveraging data-driven analysis to influence product roadmaps and business decisions, preferably within a technology company
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex insights into actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to work independently, drive measurable business impact, and engage proactively with stakeholders
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams across Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, and executive leadership
