The Bank is looking to revolutionize how it services and advises clients, deepen client engagements, and drive process transformation by leveraging advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and AI/ML techniques.

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field with a strong focus on data analysis, statistical modeling and advanced Ai/ML techniques.
  • Extensive experience in Natural Language Processing including Large Language Models.
  • Proven track record in building and evaluating advanced Machine Learning models
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time-series forecasting, and Bayesian modeling
  • Extensive experience working with large volumes of data across both SQL and NoSQL platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and its developmental toolsets, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across Bankers, Client Services, Operations, Product and Technology teams to understand existing processes and bottlenecks, recommending transformative processes to achieve measurable productivity and efficiency gains.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and experimental designs to validate hypotheses and quantify business outcomes with statistical confidence.
  • Build interpretable predictive models using techniques such as linear/logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting methods, focusing on interpretability and statistical validity.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to uncover hidden patterns and generate actionable insights from structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Design and implement complex algorithms and data-driven models to extract insights and drive decision-making.

  • PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field
  • Atleast 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams and individuals across the firm to achieve common goals.
  • Flexibility to work under tight deadlines, with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
